Simon Whittaker

Simon started percussion at an early age, having grown up in a musical family in Yorkshire. He graduating from Trinity College of Music with a Bmus (1st class hons), and has been performing professionally ever since.

Based in London, he has played for many theatre companies and orchestras, and recorded for BBC Radio 3 and Channel 4. Simon has also toured Asia with The Amadeus Orchestra, South America with Rhythms of the City, and the UK with Russell Watson. Notable performance venues include the Cadogan Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, RFH, QEH and Brixton Academy.

When not sat behind the drums, Simon enjoys cricket, mountain biking and locating rare ales.
